The Migos is an American hip hop group from Lawrenceville, Georgia, founded in 2008. The group was originally composed of Southern rappers and singers Quavo, his nephew Takeoff, and Offset. Quavo is from Athens, Georgia and Offset and Takeoff were born and raised in nearby Lawrenceville, Georgia

How did Migos break up?
As a duo Takeoff and Quavo, teamed up with rapper Offset to create one of the 2010s biggest hip hop groups. The group rose to prominence following the release of the single Versace which went viral. However, the group ultimately went their separate ways after rumours of betrayal and rifts.
Why Offset left Migos?

What happened with Offset and Takeoff?
In September 2022, Offset posted on Twitter that he had an album coming on Nov. 11. But then Takeoff was murdered outside a Houston bowling alley on Nov. 1, during an argument related to a dice game that he wasn’t even playing (although Quavo was).
Will the Migos split up?
Now- none of the members have given a real reason for the split, but Quavo and TakeOff does say that group will always be family to each other. While addressing the breakup Quavo says, “I just feel like we want to see our career as a duo,” Quavo said.
